Carson is a High School Senior. After breaking an ankle as a Freshman from Football, doctors noticed a tumor behind his knee. This eventually became the reason for the removal of his leg above the knee. This didn't stop Carson from going back to Football or trying out for the Track Team.
James was born with a leg differential. After many surgeries, his leg had to be amputated by age 11. James didn't let this stop him from achieving his purpose in life.
Beatriz was born with a leg differential. This didn't stop her from participating in sports. She now is training to make a spot on the USA team going to the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games in August.

The Amputee Coalition is the leading national nonprofit serving people affected by limb loss and limb difference. Ashlie White, the Chief Programs Officer of the A.C. will share the daily importance of this organization with the Amputee Community.
