About Krown Family Films

Marci Krown, the Owner of Krown Family Films,  received her Bachelor of Science degree from Kent State University in Recreation Management. She  had a background with Event Planning for over 20 years with an emphasis in the sport arena. In addition, she also started and ran two separate businesses for 9 years. 

Marci started taking acting classes in 2012 and enjoyed acting in commercials, industrials, film shorts and features. While acting she decided to take on Filmmaking to become a better Actress and ended up really enjoying the filmmaking process.

 Thus, the switch to Film Production was a great use of skills already in place. She's produced three film shorts since 2017. This included, "Thank God For Jelly", "Wishful Thinking", and "Making A Difference in Their Community; Dave's Rock Garden".  All 3 films have been in various film festivals and have won awards. It's important to the company to include the community when possible in the film production. Currently, her first Documentary Feature titled, The Power of Sports for Amputees is in production.
